So…students are measured ‘summatively’ based upon a once a year State exam. To prepare them, we provide ‘formative’ assessment in order to ‘differentiate’ instruction. Teacher evaluation now calls for a ‘summative’ evaluation….shouldn’t we support our teachers “formatively” and provide them with ‘differentiated’ support too?
The FASTe Monitor module provides ‘progress monitoring for the educator’. Within this module, teachers can monitor their progress toward meeting the effectiveness ratings that they have established as their personal goals and/or those set by the school system.
